Welcome to the Heathcontrol / UKNEQAS drug scheme website

Cardiff Bioanalytical Services Ltd. provides a number of External Quality Assessment (Proficiency testing) Schemes for monitoring drug assays in serum, toxicological investigations, and drugs of abuse testing in urine.  The schemes trade under the name Heathcontrol.  We are a member of the consortium of organisers of the United Kingdom National External Quality Assessment Schemes (UKNEQAS) which operate a comprehensive range of EQA schemes from a network of centers across the UK.The schemes assist laboratories with an independent measure of their analytical performance and provide education through meetings, publications and reports. Membership is open to all clinical, forensic and workplace-testing laboratories, and commercial organisations throughout the world.  There are currently over 450 participants from 36 countries.
